EECS (Enterprise Elastic Cloud Software) アップグレードキットがMy Oracle Supportからダウンロードできるようになりました。このキットは既存の環境をEECS v 1.0.0.x.xからEECS 2.0へアップグレードしたいと考えてらっしゃるお客様向けです。

このアップグレードキットは、My Oracle Supportから以下の内容で検索して下さい。

“Patch 13795376: EECS 2.0 PHYSICAL INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADE KIT (V1.0.0.X.X -> EECS 2.0.0.0.0)”

もしくは、My Oracle Supportの"パッチと更新版"タブにて、パッチ番号で検索頂いてもOKです。

Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud Software 2.0 Upgrade README

This Exalogic Elastic Cloud Software 2.0 upgrade kit is intended for
existing Exalogic users who are interested in upgrading their environments
on Exalogic X2-2 systems from v1.0.0.x.x to EECS 2.0.

The following are included in this upgrade kit:

    - NM2-GW Switch FW (2.0.4-1)

    - NM2-36p Switch FW (2.0.4-1)

    - ZFS Storage Appliance ILOM (3.0.16.10_r65138)

    - ZFS Storage Appliance SW (2011.1.1.0)
      - ZFS Storage Appliance SW (Q3.2.1) is also included as an
        intermediate required upgrade for those running SW version older
        than Q3.2.1.

    - one-command (2.0.0.0.0)

    - Base Image (2.0.0.0.0) upgrade scripts
      - For in-place upgrade of compute nodes running Linux
        v1.0.0.x.x to v2.0.0.0.0

Instructions are provided in a PDF file entitled "eecs_20_upg.pdf"
included in this upgrade kit.

As described in the PDF upgrade guide, after upgrading the off-node components
(switches and ZFS) and one-command, you may choose to simply install
EECS 2.0 on the compute nodes using the ISO file in the media pack
if you don't have an existing v1.0.0.x.x environment that needs to
be upgraded in place.
